SMALL CLUES SERIES, Present

Oil, acrylic, Braille paper, pine

Series of shadowboxes, 8 × 8 × 2.5 in. each

Small Clues explores how seemingly insignificant details become evidence of larger histories. As the series suggests, in the archive of our lives, the smallest clues act as both camouflage and megaphone. Each intimate shadowbox centers a single Braille butterfly suspended within luminous fields of color, inviting viewers to slow down and reconsider what often goes unnoticed. Working at an intimate scale transforms attention itself into a material, revealing how memory, identity, and experience accumulate through quiet traces rather than grand gestures.
