Jill Wells Chosen to Exhibit Her Art in a Solo Show for Viaduct Gallery

DES MOINES, IOWA – September 12, 2019, / - Award-winning artist Jill Wells announced today that her Midwest regionalist series, “The Cotton Memoirs”, was chosen for a solo art exhibition at Viaduct Gallery in Des Moines, Iowa. Jill Wells is a Midwest artist who is known for her dynamic and colorful narrative paintings. Viaduct Gallery has selected Jill Wells for a solo show this September with her public artist reception, September 19, 2019 from 6-8pm.

Jill Wells’ Cotton Field series was chosen through an artist selection which was conducted by MOREZARTE Art Consulting and The Des Moines Social Club. The dates for this show are September 05th, 2019, through September 30th, 2019.

Jill Wells lives and creates her art in Des Moines. Wells has been an artist there and across the US for more than 18 years. Regarding the art exhibition, Wells stated, “I am very pleased and gratified to be chosen by Viaduct Gallery for this solo show. It is nice to be recognized locally in the capital city of Des Moines and also because it is where I live and work.”

Viaduct Gallery has recently refurbished and updated. The main entrance to the building is through The Des Moines Social Club front door. The main floor to the Des Moines Social club is accessible. The access to Viaduct Gallery is through the main floor, to the back of the house stair access. Viaduct Gallery is located at 900 Mulberry St, Des Moines, Iowa 50309. They are open Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Sunday 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Jill Wells lives and works in Des Moines, Iowa. Her artwork is represented in the permanent collections of Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Blank Park Zoo, YMCA of Greater Des Moines, The Annette Nature Center and Creative Visions Human Development Center.
