ACCESSIBILITY AS FORM

Accessibility as Form brings together painting, sculptural paper, Braille, handcrafted books, dimensional butterflies, bespoke French wallpaper, and botanical forms within a site-specific installation that unfolds across a gallery wall and a restored clawfoot tub. Distinct in their material qualities yet united by a shared investigation of accessibility, the works consider care, perception, imagination, and reflection through monochromatic fields of color and tactile form.

Together, these layered materials invite multiple ways of experiencing the installation, where visual and tactile languages exist in conversation rather than hierarchy. Moving between acts of looking and acts of care, the work explores the body's relationship to touch, memory, rest, and the built environment, proposing accessibility as an artistic language that expands how we encounter one another, the spaces we inhabit, and the many ways bodies move through the world.
