The Red Series explores the paradox of visibility—how a body can disappear within silence or within excess. Constructed through monochromatic reliefs of layered paper, painting, and Braille butterflies, the work asks how perception is shaped by attention, bias, and the limits of visual literacy. Long associated with strength, empowerment, passion, and heightened emotion, red becomes both atmosphere and material, holding tension between concealment and revelation. Across the series, the Braille butterfly remains present—readable through touch even when it resists the eye—asking how histories, identities, and bodies become visible through the act of careful looking.
