A community engagement piece commissioned by City Sounds that strives to transform the Des Moines community culture through music, animating common spaces, and making artistic creation accessible to all. BLACK BUTTERFLY is about the beauty of blackness first. Additionally, thoughts of transformation, accessibility, and light and dark are raised.
