​Commissioned by City Sounds, BLACK BUTTERFLY baby grand piano transforms a musical, public instrument into an immersive work of art celebrating the beauty of blackness, sound, vibration, and community culture. Created to make music-making more accessible, the installation invites people of all ages and abilities to pause, play, and gather. BLACK BUTTERFLY animates the public space as a shared experience of creativity and connection.
